About the role

We are looking for a Senior Database Engineer with database migration and cloud transitions practical experience, ready to join our team. Willing to be responsible for the designing and development of relational database with Oracle and PostgreSQL. Ultimately, should be able to ensure our database systems run effectively and securely on a daily basis. Will work closely with the application developers and business teams.

What you´ll be doing

• Design and development of relational databases with PostgreSQL and Oracle 
• Create and maintain entity relationship diagrams and data dictionaries 
• Database performance tuning and troubleshooting in cooperation with application developers 
• Collaborate on application implementation projects 
• Design and implementation of ETL processes 
• Migrate databases to the cloud

What you´ll need

• Degree in IT or equivalent experience  
• English proficiency
• Experience in relational database concepts and their implementation in PostgreSQL (Oracle) 
• Knowledge of PL/SQL 
• Knowledge of processing JSON data in a database
• Team-oriented, reliable, and self-driven
• Proactive, communicative and strong analytical capabilities
• Service-orientation with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
• Ability to cope with tight deadlines

• Oracle to PostgreSQL migration experience 
• MongoDB experience 
• Cloud infrastructure knowledge
