About the project

The project is dedicated to servicing a global player within the Insurance industry. It aims to unify rating and pricing approaches of our client, while ensuring state of the art flexibility, robustness, speed, and maintainability. One of the challenges of this project is the fast and robust handling of the enormous amount of data that will be used in pricing, rating and reporting.

Python libraries: Numpy, NUMBA, Pytorch, Starlette, Pandas, FastAPI

About the role

We are looking for a Python Developer with excellent development skills, willing to work on pricing projects for the Insurance industry. Ready to fully collaborate on the architecture and to design state-of-the-art data management solutions within an international implementation team.

What you´ll be doing

  • Design and maintain front-end solutions
  • Design challenging computational flows 
  • Design challenging data parsing and data modelling solutions 
  • Evaluation and implementation of latest libraries for data management
  • Active collaboration with multi-national teams within PO, Business Analysts, internal and client-side developers’ from Europe, providing full support and defining deadlines
  • Active communication with stakeholders from different hierarchical levels and diverse backgrounds, understanding the projects’ environment, obstacles and identifying possible solutions, demonstrating analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Work on different projects simultaneously and cope with tight deadlines

What you´ll need

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Informatics/ Data Science or similar
  • English proficiency
  • Practical professional experience in implementing front-end solutions with Python
  • Over 3 years of solid professional experience in Software Development
  • Advanced knowledge in Python
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD and Agile methodologies
  • Team-oriented, reliable, and self-driven
  • Service-orientation with a strong focus on customer satisfaction

Will be a Plus

  • Experience using Django/ Flask/ Sanic/ Bottle/ FastApi/ NumPy
  • Front-end experiences
