BG, GE, PT

You can join a high-performing international team dedicated to software engineering for leading global (re-)insurers.

About the Project‍

Ever dreamed of having a real impact on the user interface of an exciting software? In our project, you can make a difference. It’s not an opportunity for everyone – it is B2B, very quantitative – so, you should neither be afraid of numbers nor of supporting quite abstract workflows.

As part of our Actus team, you will be the key designer of the user interfaces for our growing suite of innovative software solutions for the reinsurance industry, tools which will be used by highly skilled professionals to transact on the world’s most challenging insurable risks. If you haven’t heard the word “reinsurance” yet, don’t worry, your colleagues will explain.

Technically, it uses TypeScript (React, NodeJS, Express, NestJS) for both frontend and backend.

In this role, you will work closely together with our product owner, our development teams, and with our clients. It’s this effective collaboration where Solveva excels and by which we lead the innovation in our field.

  • Prepare meaningful sketches and suggest alternatives for user interactions with the system
  • Work out the details of the interface and prepare high quality mock-ups for development prototypes and user interaction testing
  • Apply UX/UI patterns and best practices for designing for the Web, including development of own and/or refining existing UI component libraries
  • Conduct testing of already developed user interfaces and suggest appropriate changes and improvements
  • Validate design proposals with the project team: engage in discussions, give constructive feedback considering user experience versus implementation efforts
  • Collaborate with key developers and product owners, internal and on client side
  • Stay up to date with a significant amount of project documentation

In our non-hierarchical company you will also work on many tasks around our website, our presence in social media, and so on.
